Team Dziobak

The team behind this event is Dziobak Larp Studios. We're 32 people in seven countries, and have been in business since 2006. Since 2014 we've focused on epic blockbuster events, the most famous of these being The College of Wizardry larp series. This is going to be our 17th event at Czocha Castle, so even if this is a new idea, we know the location very well.

Passion - Discipline

We’re combining our passion for EU IV with our knowledge of experience design to bring you this extraordinary event. We've done hundreds of immersive events, and that's why we're confident that we can pull off what nobody has done before - host an epic LAN party like this in a real castle.

The Castle - Your Accommodations - Your Meals

Castle History

Construction began on the fortress called Czocha Castle in the middle of the 13th century. The castle changed hands many times over the proceeding 100 years, with each new owner making modifications and additions. Today, the oldest parts of the castle can be dated back to the year 1329.

Sleeping Accommodations

When not hosting this EU IV LAN party, Czocha Castle serves as a hotel. You can either share your room with other participants, or book a private room for you and your team. And don't worry - the castle may be ancient, but it comes with modern showers and toilets.

The event will be catered by the hotel’s professional staff, with food provided for a variety of diets and tastes, with options for both omnivores and vegetarians at every meal. If you’re vegan, just let us know! We’ll make sure the kitchen prepares something special just for you.

Similarly, if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions, or specific questions about the food, please just let us know! We will make sure that no one has to conquer the world on an empty stomach.

Getting There and Back Again - The Berlin Bus

Berlin Bus

Our chartered Berlin Bus will pick participants up from Berlin’s Tegel (09.00) and Schoenefeld (10.30) airport on Wednesday morning, and take them across the border into Poland and directly to Czocha Castle. On Sunday, the Berlin Bus will also return participants to both airports (14.30 SXF, 16.00 TXL).

Travelling to Berlin

Whether you’re coming to Berlin by air, train or car, you’ll find the city extremely traveler friendly. If you’ve arrived in Berlin early to catch the Bus to Czocha you can stay either in one of the numerous hotels and motels near the airport, or try out one of Berlin’s eclectic hostels.

Flights & International Travel

Berlin is one of Europe’s busiest travel hubs, meaning it’s easy to find flights there from locations all around the world. Furthermore, we have partnered with Lufthansa Airlines as our official airlines for discounted flight options. Head here for more information.

People who arrive early

If you’re making your own way to the castle you can even stay early or late if you like! The address for the castle is: Zamek Czocha, Sucha, 59-820 Leśna, Poland. And if you’d like to arrange accommodations at the castle either ahead of or after the event, just let us know!
